This is the story of plucky underdogs seizing their chance on the national stage. Despite their size, their reputation, and what the world tells them, they push forward—chasing the so-called ‘impossible’ and the ‘impractical.’ Luton’s Big Weekend is where Introducing became familiar, where Stockwood became Woodstock, and where Yellow became Orange.

A Luton Documentary

This is a story about a town marked by a bad reputation constantly in the shadows of the larger cities and seemingly in a downward spiral. But despite the odds their football team qualified into the Premiere League sparking a change in the town. Pushing me to document the impact of that win and kicking off with a young musician who made a song about one of the football players. But then branching out to a diverse group of individuals and organisations who are working to change the narrative of the town. This is Luton and it’s Tipping point.
