The Tipping Point

A Luton Documentary

This is a story about a town marked by a bad reputation constantly in the shadows of the larger cities and seemingly in a downward spiral. But despite the odds their football team qualified into the Premiere League sparking a change in the town. Pushing me to document the impact of that win and kicking off with a young musician who made a song about one of the football players. But then branching out to a diverse group of individuals and organisations who are working to change the narrative of the town. This is Luton and it’s Tipping point.

This is a story about the Luton Library Theatre and the group of people who saved it from fading away forever. Every member of LLC have deep roots with this theatre. Their fondest memories are tied to this building, so when they heard it was going to be closed. They moved heaven and earth to stop this from happening. This is the touching story of the Luton Library Theatre.
